Sometimes I read or hear things about what’s going on with our government and I just want to write and get it off my chest.
This morning I read the headlines that the Florida detention camp needs to shut down. In this case, I think about money. All the money spent on this for naught. Do we forget the people in this world who are suffering because they are poor? I also think this about the White House renovations and the new Air Force One. It just doesn’t make sense to me. Aren’t people important anymore?
Also, when our president complains about Vladimir Putin killing people with his war on Ukraine, what does he think about the killing that is taking place in Gaza? He says absolutely nothing. That seems to be OK.
I hate paying the IRS because I’m helping pay for those killings. These things just don’t make sense. I feel we need to take care of one another. We all make a difference.
Is anybody else feeling this?
