Lauren Cote, Lewiston senior forward: Cote led the team in goals last year and earned first-team all-KVAC recognition. She’s a four-year starter and will be a key piece for a hopeful A North contender.
Meredith Delehanty, Edward Little senior back: Delehanty is one of the Red Eddies’ six returning seniors and will lead a defensive group that should be strong, and perhaps good enough to guide Edward Little back to the postseason.
Brylee Emmons, Leavitt sophomore back: Multiple area coaches tabbed Emmons as a potential top player after an impressive freshman season. Leavitt graduated much of their core, so the sophomore will be looked to play a bigger role.
Payton Hoyle, Lisbon senior back: Hoyle was a Maine Field Hockey Association All-State player last year, scoring six goals while playing on defense. She’ll be a leader for a program looking to stay a contender with a new coach and strong numbers.
Lily Huntley, Mt. Blue senior midfielder/forward: Huntley brings great stick skills and plenty of hustle to the midfield position, and is excellent at navigating through multiple defenders. She was a second-team All-Star in the KVAC last year.
Olivia Huri, Winthrop senior midfielder: Playing the center mid position, Huri takes over for Madeline Wagner as the Ramblers’ pivotal player. She controls the game and the flow of the attack, and last year was a first-team all-MVC pick for the four-time Class C champs.
Kali Judkins, Mt. Blue senior midfielder: Judkins earned MFHA All-State and unanimous KVAC first-team recognition last year, finishing with eight goals and three assists. She’s the Cougars’ leader in points, but she plays well in other areas of the field, too.
Addison Libby, Mountain Valley sophomore forward: Libby made an immediate impact as a freshman last season, earning all-conference recognition while stepping into a central role in the Falcons’ offense.
Kenlie Nadeau, Gray-New Gloucester/NYA senior forward: The high-scoring Nadeau, a first-team WMC All-Star, was a key reason why the Patriots went 12-2 last year. She’ll again be a focal point in the GNG/NYA offense.
Lana Waite, Dirigo senior forward: Waite was a first-team MVC All-Star last year, and will be the primary scoring threat for a team that should again be competitive in Class C North. She scored twice in a quarterfinal win over Maine Central Institute.
