Chloe Leblanc scored twice to lead Edward Little field hockey to a 3-1 win in its season opener against Bangor in Auburn.
Reegan Saunders also scored, and Tilly Savage added an assist.
Ava Fortine scored and Kya Smith made seven saves for Bangor.
SKOWHEGAN 5, OXFORD HILLS 0: Kaitlyn Dufour and Grace Mayo each scored twice as the River Hawks won a season opener in Paris.
Faith Pease also scored, and Emily Bruce and Jaidan Dodge each had an assist.
LEAVITT 1, ERSKINE ACADEMY 0: Ainsley Barry scored the lone goal in the Hornets’ (1-0) win over the Eagles (0-1) in Turner.
Brylee Emmons had the assist.
MESSALONSKEE 3, LEWISTON 2: Addie Hafford scored her second goal of the game with four minutes remaining to give the Eagles (1-0) the win over the Blue Devils (0-1) in Lewiston.
Reagan Gale also found the back of the net for Messalonskee.
Lauren Cote had a goal and an assist for Lewiston while Luci Tremblay notched a goal.
Adrianna Pettengil recorded seven saves for the Eagles and Shelby Valley stopped five shots for the Blue Devils.

MARANACOOK 2, RICHMOND 0: Sam Hayes and Will Watson scored about eight minutes apart late in the first half as the Black Bears won a season opener at Richmond.
Hayes started the scoring in the 29th minute, assisted by Jacob Lyons. Watson’s goal was assisted by Madox Murtha.
Maranacook keeper Grant Walters didn’t have to make a save. Richmond’s David Edwards stopped 12 shots.
BUCKFIELD 1, LISBON 0, OT: Brayden Monto scored off a corner kick in overtime to give the Bucks (1-0) the win over the Greyhounds in Lisbon.
Neil Haylock made two saves for the shutout and Malachi Madore stopped four shots.

MT. ARARAT 6, MT. BLUE 1: Katherine Theriault scored one goal and assisted on two others in the Eagles’ season-opening win over the Cougars in Farmington.
Emma Berry, Julianna Allen, Hannah Hunt and Jaelyn Jensen also scored for Mt. Ararat (1-0).
Molly Patterson netted Mt. Blue’s (0-1) only goal off an assist from Jocelyn Greenleaf. Goalie Ava Davis made nine saves for the Cougars.
POLAND 4, TRAIP ACADEMY 2: Leksi Langevin’s two goals helped the Knights (1-0) defeat the Rangers (0-1) in Poland.
Davis Hill and Alaina Hamlin also scored for the Knights, while Payton Rose recorded an assist.
Jacqueline Diablo netted a first-half goal and Shea Johnson scored in the second half for Traip.
Poland’s Payton Blake and Traip’s Rose Dembele each made six saves.
