
Marti J. Guild
FARMINGTON – Marti J. Guild, 74, of Livermore, passed away Monday, Sept. 1, 2025, at Franklin Memorial Hospital in Farmington, with her loving family by her side. She was born on May 3, 1951, in Farmington, the daughter of Martin and Verna (Chapman) Filteau. She was a 1969 graduate of Livermore Falls High School. On May 2, 1970, in Wilton, she married Rockwood K. “Rocky” Guild of Livermore. Rocky and Marti were the owners of Guild’s Country Hardware, where they served their community for many years before retiring and selling the store to their daughter, Kelly in 2014. She enjoyed reading, writing, and watching old western series and classic Godzilla movies. More than anything, she loved the time spent with her family. She is survived by her son, Chris Guild and wife Misty and daughter Kelly-Ann Mercier and husband Mark all of Livermore, 15 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren, her mother-in-law, Ilean Tracy of Livermore and Florida, her step-mother Judy Roy and husband Richard of Jay, siblings, Lori Laverdiere and husband Travis of Livermore, Rhonda Purington and husband Michael of Fayette, Tom Dube and wife Shauna of Sterling, Mass., and Mike Roy and partner, Elizabeth of Jay, brother-in-law, Bruce Guild and wife Dotty of Auburn, sisters-in-law, Karen Nichols of Florida and Barbara Keene of Livermore, and her nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Rocky, father-in-law, Ashley Guild and brothers-in-law, Bill Nichols and Charles Keene. Visiting hours will be from 4-7 p.m., Monday, September 8, at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church Street, Livermore Falls, Maine. A private graveside service will be held at Lakeside Cemetery, Federal Road, Livermore.
