In response to the letter recently stating that America is a government of laws (“Those angry about ICE forget we are a government of laws,” Aug. 8), I couldn’t agree more. The problem I have is that Trump is not just deporting criminals. He’s also deporting families who applied for asylum, committed no crimes and were following the rules imposed upon them.

ICE then swoops in and arrests these people when they leave their hearings and then sends them to countries they have no ties to.
