Morgan Hersey scored in the second half, assisted by Kali Judkins and Grace Allen, and Mt. Blue earned a 1-0 win over Brewer in a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference field hockey game Wednesday in Farmington.

The Cougars (3-1) outshot Brewer by a 20-2 margin. Abbie DeRosier kept her team in the game with 13 saves, while Mt. Blue’s Gwen Lesperance turned aside both shots she faced.

MT. ARARAT 3, EDWARD LITTLE 1: The Eagles (3-1-1) scored three times in the first half en route to a victory over the Red Eddies (2-4) in Auburn.

Maddy Sweet and Krystah Coen scored in the first quarter and Avery Elliot had a goal in the second.

Grace Roy set up Mackenzie Joler in the fourth quarter for Edward Little’s only goal.

Eagles goalie Jaymie Bergman stopped nine shots. Arabella Harris made six saves for the Red Eddies.

WINTHROP/MARANACOOK 1, LISBON 0: Evelyn Mortimer scored in the fourth quarter, giving the Ramblers (3-0) a win over the Greyhounds (4-1-1) in Lisbon.

Cyara Harriman stopped five shots for the shutout. Lisbon’s Sophia Cote made two saves.
