Landon Marquis passed for three touchdowns and ran for a score, and Leavitt had three scoring runs longer than 50 yards in its 58-12 win over York in a Class C football contest Friday in Turner.

Marquis tossed TD passes of 20 yards to Brody Poland, 25 yards to Randy Hutchinson and 27 yards to Mason Henderson. Henderson, Nathan Karkos and Koby Bubier all broke loose for long touchdown runs, and Poland and Marquis had short scoring runs for the Hornets (2-1).

The Wildcats’ (0-3) touchdowns were a 1-yard run by Sam Jankovic and a 12-yard run by Colin McCann.

YARMOUTH 52, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 38: The Clippers (2-1) overtook the Phoenix (2-1) in the second half to earn an eight-man Large School South victory in Livermore Falls.

After the teams swapped the lead in the third quarter, Yarmouth seized control with consecutive touchdowns – a 4-yard pass from Iggy McGrath to Adam Pelotte late in the third, then a 4-yard run by Raphael McGuffie with 7:58 left that gave the Clippers a 46-32 lead.

Spruce Mountain took a bite out of the deficit when QB Dylan Jewett ran 16 yards for a score on fourth-and-long, but the Clippers put the game away on a 12-yard touchdown pass from McGrath to Nick Mantle with 1:14 remaining.

The Phoenix entered the second half with a 24-22 lead. Pelotte put Yarmouth ahead with a short touchdown run. Jewett answered less than two minutes later with a 14-yard run that put Spruce Mountain back on top, 32-30.

POLAND 34, MOUNTAIN VALLEY 15: Damon Martin accounted for three touchdowns in the third quarter to lift the Knights (2-1) past the Falcons (0-3) in Rumford. 

Martin scored on a 5-yard run in the second quarter as Poland took an 8-6 lead. In the third quarter he threw a 10-yard TD pass to Shawn West, then scored on runs of 21 and 20 yards. 

Lucas Verrill caught a 6-yard touchdown pass from Lukas Gayton in the fourth quarter for Poland. 

Colton Gallant scored on an 85-yard run in the first quarter, Blake Small threw a 3-yard TD pass to Diquari Thompson and Josh Pollis kicked a 19-yard field goal for Mountain Valley.
