Leslie was a member of the American Legion Post #153, the Disabled Veterans Association (DAV), Masonic Tranquil Lodge Number 29 and the New Auburn Social Club.
Leslie’s greatest achievement and source of joy was his devotion to his life as a family man. Leslie married the love of his life Inez Mae Gero on Feb. 9, 1974. Together they had one daughter, Debra Ann Clark. Leslie enjoyed spending time with his parents, his wife, his daughter, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and most of all, his deeply beloved grandchildren.
Leslie loved to fix things, listen to country music, watching western movies, going to lawn sales, helping his family, playing pool and telling and playing lighthearted jokes that made us all laugh due to his wonderful sense of humor. He was also an avid reader and history buff.
