AUBURN — Kevin Mitchell and Laura Davis of Rinck Advertising, Two Great Falls Plaza, will travel to Washington, D.C., on April 14 to receive recognition for the part the agency played in National Make a Difference Day in October 2010.

Mitchell and Davis will be presented a $10,000 check donation to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine, a pro-bono client of Rinck Advertising.

The agency developed a program, “Breakfast Makes a Difference Day,” to give back to the organizations involved with Ronald McDonald House Charities of Maine. Five projects, including work closing a summer camp for children with disabilities near Bangor, cleaning horse stalls in Windham and renovating a playground in Rockland, were tackled by a group of 105 volunteers, all sponsored by area McDonald’s restaurants.

National Make a Difference Day was created by USA Weekend Magazine and takes place on the fourth Saturday in October.
