Harold E (Buster) Hersey

LEWISTON – Harold E. Hersey, 85, of Lewiston passed away Monday June 21, 2021, with his family by his side. Born Dec. 4, 1935, he was the son of Ernest and Sadie Washburn Hersey.

He worked at Gould and Scammon until he retired in 1992.

He loved fishing, hunting, and camping with his family.

He is survived by his partner of 53 years, Brenda Joyce Lauze; his son, Paul E. Lauze of Auburn, three grandsons, Jesse T. Lauze of Auburn, Demeron Lauze and wife Ashley of Manistee, Mich., Ryan Blouin and wife Lynn of Chula Vista, Calif., three great-grandchildren, Declan Lauze of Manistee , Mich., Rylynn and Linkin Blouin of Chula Vista, Calif.

He is also survived by four sisters, Marilyn Brackett, Elaine King, Connie Dick, Blanche Marquis and one brother, William (Bill) Hersey, his niece, Celeste Leblond and her son, Allen, of Jay, and several nieces and nephews.
