LIVERMORE FALLS — The owner of The Lunch Pad on Park Street announced Tuesday on its Facebook page that the restaurant will reopen Sept. 18.

The eatery has been closed since Aug. 28 after it was vandalized and an attempt made to start a fire in it.

Owner Diana Gray of Livermore had hoped to reopen Sept. 11.

“I’m sorry to disappoint anyone but we want everything to be just right,” Gray wrote. “My employees and myself look so forward to seeing your smiling faces.”

No one had been charged in the case as of early Tuesday afternoon.
