KINGFIELD — Shannon Doughty, FNP-C, will be joining the medical team at Mt. Abram Regional Health Center in April. Doughty has been a family nurse practitioner for more than five years.
Doughty brings experience in a variety of clinical settings, including family practice, urgent care and sub-acute settings working with infants 30 days old, to people 104 years old. She received her bachelor of social work degree as well as her master of science in nursing degree at University of Southern Maine. Her areas of interest include family practice and geriatrics.
Doughty will be joining physician David Austin and nurse practitioner Sandra Picard, who provide care to more than 1, 500 residents from Carrabasset Valley, Coplin and Dallas plantations, Eustis, Kingfield and New Portland and other locations.
