A 60-year-old man from Gorham died Friday in a head-on collision on Fort Hill Road, Gorham police said Monday.

Christopher Smith died at the scene of the collision, which occurred about 10:23 p.m. in the area of Valley View Drive. Smith’s passenger, Christine Smith, 56, also of Gorham, and the other driver, Jade Pierce, 24, of Windham, were treated for non-life-threatening injuries at a local hospital.

The cause is under investigation, and police from Gorham will reconstruct the crash to determine what happened, police said.
