
BRIDGTON — The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club announces the upcoming speaker events for March. On Thursday, March 17, at 4:30 p.m., there will be a Hybrid Meeting with Bridgton Books owner Justin Ward, of Bridgton. Bridgton Books was honored by the Greater Bridgton Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce last year as the Small Business of the Year. Justin will share his experience operating a small retail establishment during the pandemic and what changes he might make to his business model moving forward.
The next week, Thursday, March 24, at 4:30 p.m., the speaker will be Krissy Fraser, from Kismet Rock Foundation, at Stella’s on the Square; for Zoom link, contact [email protected].
Kismet Rock Foundation nourishes the physical, intellectual and emotional development of rural and urban children throughout New England before they enter their perilous teen years. The Foundation’s success in redirecting the path and supporting the potential of children is accomplished by providing scholarships for a comprehensive education in technical rock climbing within the context of a stable and loving family-like atmosphere.
The Bridgton-Lake Region Rotary Club is excited to announce two changes to its meeting schedule. In March, they are returning to in person meetings with a Zoom option at a new time 4:30 p.m. on Thursdays. These changes will be evaluated for at least 60 days.
