Peggy-Anna Bardier

TURNER – Peggy-Anna Bardier, 77, of Turner, died at her residence on Monday, June 27, 2022, surrounded by family. Born in Bath on Feb. 7, 1945, she was the daughter of Merrel Keene and Mary I. Johnson. Educated in Maine schools, she was a graduate of Edward Little High School, class of 1963. She married Danny M. Bardier in 1966. He passed away in 2012.

She worked at Pioneer Plastics for several years, and then was a school bus driver in Lewiston, SAD 52 Turner, Leeds and Greene, until retiring. Peggy enjoyed spending time with family and friends and took pride in her bird sanctuary she had built in her yard.

Peggy leaves behind a daughter, Viola Bardier of Turner, a son, Robert Nickerson of Turner, her best friend and sister, Gail Card, a brother, Norm Benoit and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband Danny and a son, Leslie.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 16, 11 a.m., at Gracelawn Memorial Park in Auburn. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 27, from 12-4 p.m., at the VFW POST 1603, 588 Minot Ave Auburn, Maine 04210.
