AUGUSTA — Spectrum Generations will offer free reverse mortgage counseling to all of New England through Sept. 30.

“Reverse mortgages are incredibly complex loans and can have huge implications for borrowers. Speaking with a counselor is crucial to understanding the loan and the impact it could have on their future and their heirs,” said Kristin Overton, who manages the reverse mortgage counseling program.
