Charlene Partee

PORT ORANGE, Fla. – Charlene “Cookie” Elsie (Robinson) Partee, 82, of Port Orange, Fla., passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday Nov. 9, 2022, at Halifax Medical Center following a brief illness.

She was born in Lewiston, Maine on January 22, 1940, a daughter to the late Marshall and Everdene (Luce) Robinson. She worked for over 25 years for the State of Maine.

She married the love of her life, Sammy D. Partee on May 6, 1967. They lived in Minot, Maine, until 2000 when they retired to Florida.

She was an amazing wife, mother, sister, aunt, daughter, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was her world, she loved with all of heart, she was a momma bear, a friend, a confidant, and she always had time for a hug. She believed that you didn’t need to blood to be family and loved everyone the same. She will be forever loved and missed.

Cookie was survived by her daughters Debbie Dionne of Port Orange, Fla., and Stephanie Watson of Mount Juliet, Tenn., two sons-in-laws (sons in her eyes) Shawn Dionne of Port Orange, Fla. and Tom Watson of Mount Juliet, Tenn., and a former Son-in-law Michael Arsenault. She is also survived by two granddaughters Amanda Dionne and Jessica Dionne, three grandsons Dylan Arsenault, Cody Arsenault, and Tommy Watson and two great-granddaughters, Samarah and Shaila Dionne, a sister Carol (Walton) Robinson and many nieces and nephews.

Cookie is predeceased by her husband of 50 years Sammy, her parents, a sister Virtue (Normand) Provencher, and brother Conrad Robinson.

Funeral Services will be provided by Daytona Memorial Park, in Daytona Beach, Fla.
