Harvey W. Cote

LEWISTON – Harvey W. Cote, 76, a resident of Livermore Falls, passed away Friday, Nov. 18, 2022, at Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.

He was born Jan. 17, 1946 in Chisholm, the son of Wilfred Cote and Lillian (Crosby) Cote. He was a graduate of Livermore Falls High School.

He was owner and operator of Harvey’s Garage and Body Shop. He enjoyed farming, fishing, and playing the guitar.

He is survived by his daughters Joline Libby and husband, Cecil of South Carolina, Lisa Cote of Lewiston, Rhonda Hanscom and husband, Jeff of Lewiston, and Donna Karkos and companion, Theron Fidiam of Livermore Falls, his sons Harvey L. Cote, Sr. and wife, April of Livermore Falls and Randy Cote and wife, Kim of Fayette; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; siblings Christine Judd and husband, Larry of Livermore, Dorothy Bulger and husband, John of Chesterville, Terry Parlin and companion, David Turcotte of Livermore Falls, Marita Koehling of Chesterville, Juanita Cote of Brunswick, Ivan Cote of Bath, Laurie Gagnepain and husband, Steve of Jay, and Richard Cote of Livermore Falls.

He was predeceased by his parents; and former wife, Darlene Cote.

Funeral services will be 1 p.m., on Saturday, Nov. 26, at FINLEY FUNERAL HOME, 15 Church St., Livermore Falls. Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 25 at the funeral home.
