BARRINGTON, R.I. – Robert Dummer, 80, of Barrington, R.I., passed away Dec. 6, 2022 after a short illness.

Born in Providence, Robert moved with his family to Barrington as a young child. He split his time between Barrington and Maine, where he spent his summers working at the family campground. For over 60 years he tended the grounds and greeted generations of vacationing families every summer. Known for his dry humor and unique personality, Robert was a beloved member of the campground and extended family.

Robert is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Lloyd Shreve.

A family memorial service celebrating his life will be held in Maine in the spring.
