Returning athletes: Boys: Senior — Justin Leclair; Juniors — Lucas Bourget, Zach Tannenbaum, Nate Mulligan; Sophomore — Izaac White. Girls: Seniors — Audrey Bennett, Hayley Barton; Junior — Crystal Labonte

Key losses: Boys: Faisal Noor, Hussein Mohamed; Girls: Abby Hart, Melissa Brown.

Top newcomers: Boys: Senior — Matt Yarnevich; Juniors — Adam Robinson, Midhun Gelder; Sophomore — Tony Gardner. Girls: Senior — Abby Dunn; Junior — Katie Laflamme; Sophomore — Haley Laflamme.

Outlook: Numbers have improved significantly for EL, with 16 boys and nine girls out for the team. Those are the most runners veteran coach Campbell can recall in about eight years. Leclair and Bourget have big sneakers to fill after the graduation of Noor and Mohamed. Likewise, Bennett hopes to step up after emerging as the girls’  No. 2 runner last year.
