Residents of Ward 5 in Auburn are very lucky to have Stefanie Mahr Damien running for City Council.
The city faces a host of difficult issues — from the protection of Lake Auburn and how to manage solid waste and recycling, to coming up with compassionate solutions to the housing crisis.
In all of these matters, we need councilors who will listen to their constituents, take different concerns into account, and then work with others in Auburn Hall to come up with the best options for the community’s health and well-being.
Stefanie would bring new energy, a gift for listening, and experience both as a small business owner and caregiver for elderly relatives.
I hope voters will join me in electing Stefanie as we turn a new page toward greater openness and inclusion in deciding the future of our neighborhoods and the city as a whole.
