Whether or not voters agree or disagree with the upcoming vote on the electrical issue, it is generally known that government is not good at managing. Period.

We need the citizens of Maine to control who and what entity is in control.

The Public Utilities Commission? Interesting … isn’t that supposed to represent the citizens of this state?

Public Utility Commission. Public, state, people. It should represent us or fall into corporate greed.

For example, with the Quebec Hydro corridor, I would have forced the company responsible to pay the state of Maine, via a meter, at the boarder, for every kilowatt passing through. That way we can build our infrastructure to accommodate electrification. Whether it be vehicles or commercial/residential power.

People who are in power ought to represent us, the people of Maine.
