AUBURN — St. Dom’s scored three first-half goals and added a pair in the second half to pull away with a 5-1 victory over Spruce Mountain.
Robbie Pallozzi opened the scoring with the first of his two goals with an unassisted tally. Troy Haefele followed with a goal on an assist from Josu Asun. Spruce Mountain (3-5-1) got on the board with Adam Gettle cutting the lead in half. Will Desmaris scored the final goal of the half.
Zack Johnson and Pallozzi’s second-half goals rounded out the scoring for St. Dom’s (8-0-1). Cam Haney turned away four shots in net for the Saint’s while Ethan Hutchins stopped 10 shots for the Phoenix.
Oak Hill 2, Morse 1
WALES — After a scoreless first half Oak Hill pushed across a pair of second-half goals to edge Morse 2-1.
Oak Hill’s Dalton Burns scored four minutes into the second half scoring a goal from a Jamiel Kidd pass for the game’s first score. Morse (5-3-1) tied the score with a goal from Cody Snyder on an assist from PC Ostergaard.
Junior midfielder Trevor Samson scored the final goal, taking control of the ball and poking it in the bottom corner past Morse keeper Chris Paulus for the game-winner with about 10 minutes remaining.
Paulus stopped seven shots in the loss, while Raiders (3-6) goalie Sam Morin turned away eight shots in the victory.
Hall-Dale 3, Mt. Abram 0
FARMINGDALE — Colin Lush scored on a direct kick in teh first half, helping point Hall-Dale to a 3-0 victory over Mt. Abram in a boys’ soccer game Friday.
Sam Sheperd and Ben Crocker each scored in the second half to help put the game out of reach from the Roadrunners (2-4-3).
The Bulldogs dominated the game, outshooting Mt. Abram, 34-6.
Monmouth 4, Telstar 3
BETHEL — Monmouth scored the first three goals of the second half to break a 1-1 tie at halftime and held on to the lead for a 4-3 triumph over Telstar.
The Rebels (0-8) struck first as Tyler Brown took a pass from Nick Conrad and scored at the 22-minute mark. Monmouth’s Nick Trenholm answered less than five minutes later with an unassisted score. The senior opened the second half with another unassisted score. Junior Devin West followed with a pair of goals putting the Mustangs (5-4) out to a 4-1 lead.
Conrad pushed across a score off a penalty kick and Brown tallied his second score of the game to cap off the scoring. Telstar out shot the Mustangs 16-10 in the loss.
Monmouth keeper Kasey Smith recorded 13 saves in the victory. Telstar’s Michael Bel Duca turned away six shots.
Dirigo 5, Winthrop 0
DIXFIELD —Dirigo received goals from five players ina 5-0 victory over Winthrop.
Chad Snowman, Trevor Stathim, Cody St. Germain, T.J. Frost and Garret Carver scored for the Cougars (7-2).
Caleb Turner stopped both shots on net. Winthrop’s Cameron MacMillan
