LEWISTON — The Franco American Education Foundation awarded $50,000 in scholarships to high school graduates from the greater Lewiston-Auburn area at a reception held May 15 at the Franco Center. An additional sum of $150,000 was awarded to college students in their sophomore, junior and senior years.
Graduates from the following schools received scholarships:
Lewiston High School: Olivia Crowley, Payson Goyette, Allison Lavallee, Madeleine Albert, Cody Dionne, Everett Mailhot and Madison Binette.
Edward Little High School: Jillian Dumais, Joseph Martel, Micah Joler, Carmen Dufour, Grace Ducharme, Kaelyn Langlois, Gabrielle Duplissis and Hayden Bilodeau.
Leavitt Area High School: Samantha DeBlois, Emma Fogg, Maria Grover and Brayden Greenlaw.
St. Dominic Academy: Connor Cyr, Timothee Ouellette, Aiden Walling and Ryan Bussiere.
Hebron Academy: Caden Dufour.
Poland Regional High School: Talen Langevin.
Oak Hill High School: Jonathan Caron.
Lisbon High School: Emmett Mooney.
