AUGUSTA – The Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife announced Friday that its former spokesman, Mark Latti, is the department’s new Recreational Access and Landowner Relations coordinator.
Latti, who starts Monday, Oct. 17, will leave his job of two years as spokesman for the Maine Department of Transportation. Prior to that, he served nine years as the MDIFW spokesman.
In his new post, Latti is tasked with promoting cooperation between landowners across the state and recreational land-users in order to protect Maine’s long tradition of outdoor recreation on private lands.
