The Rangeley Friends of the Arts will present a weekend of live music and song as part of the Indoor Concert Series from Aug. 23-25, at at Lakeside Theater in Rangeley.

The Rangeley Community chorus will present “Comedy Gold: An evening of belly laughs and smiles” at 7 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23. Rangeley Community Chorus is a group of year-round and seasonal residents of the Rangeley area plus members from surrounding towns. Membership in the Community Chorus is open and rotating. The lighthearted and fun program is directed by Sue Downes-Borko. This concert is free and open to the community.

The Sandy River Ramblers will play at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 24. The Sandy River Ramblers is a Maine bluegrass band with a heavy emphasis on original songs about Maine that have a loyal following.

New York City artist Sami Stevens with Kazemde George and Jesse Heasley will perform at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 25. Stevens, currently on tour with Norah Jones, is making a stop in Rangeley. She harnesses jazz and singer-songwriter influences to create truly intimate original music.

Tickets for the concerts on Saturday and Sunday are $15 for adults, $10 for 12 and under and are available in advance online at rangeleyarts.org or at the door each night. Doors open 45 minutes prior to start time. For our full schedule of events, visit rangeleyarts.org
