Reflecting on the event, organizer Brenda Wilcox expressed her gratitude in a post on the Phillips Chamber of Commerce Facebook page. “As Old Home Days is coming to an end, I just wanted to take a moment to thank all the sponsors, volunteers, event planners, chamber members, and safety crews who made this Old Home Days one that I will fondly remember. It was such a fun, coming together week for so many near and far. I saw a lot of community pride and support for each other here in our little town of Phillips.”
Wilcox, who has managed the Chamber for the past four years, announced she will be stepping down as president at the next monthly Chamber meeting. “I will stay involved in the Chamber but on a much lower scale,” she said. “I am confident we can elect a new group of officers that will be able to bring fresh ideas and energy to this town. I am really looking forward to see what 2025 brings to our community and looking forward to the 66th Phillips Old Home Days in Aug. 2025.”
