I am tired of politics as usual in the state of Maine.
It is for this reason that I enthusiastically endorse Charlotte Nutt to represent District 79 in the Maine House of Representatives.
As an independent, Charlotte is not beholden to either of the two parties that dominate Maine politics. Instead, she can focus on the needs of her constituents in the towns of Paris, Sumner, West Paris and Woodstock.
Charlotte would bring a fresh perspective informed by her experience as a town planner, as well as her love of the Maine way of life. Her understanding of the increasing challenges facing rural Mainers and willingness to create solutions to challenges like housing, transportation and child care is exactly what we need in Western Maine.
I hope people join me in voting for Charlotte Nutt to represent District 79.
