RAYMOND — The annual Hawthorne House Christmas Potluck Dinner Party is set for 6 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Nathaniel Hawthorne’s Boyhood Home, 40 Hawthorne Road.
A $5 entrance donation will grant each attendee five raffle tickets for prizes.
The festivities begin with cocktails at 6 p.m., followed by a spiral-ham dinner at 7 p.m. Attendees are asked to bring a favorite culinary creation: an appetizer, main dish, bread, rolls, or dessert, along with serving spoons. They are also asked to put their name on dishes and utensils, according to a news release from the Hawthorne Community Association.
Guests for the cocktail hour and dinner are asked to bring their own alcoholic beverages or mixers. The Hawthorne House will provide setups of ice and standard mixers. The evening will conclude with a raffle of gifts, along with the singing of Christmas carols.
