ANSWER: Thank you for everything you do to help our community!
DEAR SUN SPOTS: The Trinity Jubilee Center would love your help with changing lives and bringing hope to those in need. If that sounds good to you, here’s information about volunteering with us.
Volunteering tasks include soup kitchen food pick-up, preparation, bagging groceries, greeting guests and cleaning both the soup kitchen and the day shelter.
We also need help with organizing and distributing donations that come in, clerical work and organizing group fundraising drives.
If you have a special skill to share, please let us know. You or your organization can sponsor a meal or make a monetary donation. For more information, go to: trinityjubileecenter.org .
We ask volunteers to commit to a weekly shift. With our small staff team, consistent support is invaluable. When you dedicate your time weekly to the same project, you make a significant impact and help us provide continuous, reliable support.
Volunteers must be at least 13 years old. Those ages 13-15 need to be accompanied by an adult. We believe in fostering a spirit of service in young people.
If on-site volunteering doesn’t fit your schedule, you can still make a huge difference. Consider organizing a supply drive for our programs. Gather essential items from our most-needed list and rally your community — whether it’s your office, place of worship, gym, scouting group, sports team, school, book club or any other group.
If you’re interested in volunteering, there’s a form to fill out at trinityjubileecenter.org/contribute/volunteer.
