When the doors of the Lewiston Armory open Monday on the first automobile and radio show of metropolitan proportions and the first for several years, the building will have been transformed into a mammoth show place.
A small army of people were busy on the job Saturday. Automobiles of every kind, to fit every need and nearly every purse; trucks of all sizes and many ‘makes,’ the latest in accessories, radio supplies of all descriptions, set in scenes of the most artistic and spectacular nature with green and white in observance of St. Patrick’s week predominating, the spectators will have much to attract them and keep them interested.
The weather Saturday was anything but helpful for mud inches deep made transportation difficult around the building and called attention to the glaring need of a street to the rear exits as originally planned.

What do you do when you’re a month shy of 108, possibly the oldest resident of Maine, and your neighborhood friends in Mexico, Maine are gone?
Make new friends!
That’s what happened last month when Annie Mickewick Timberlake, 98, Livermore’s oldest resident, came to visit Margaret Milishousky at the Bolster Heights Health Care Facility in New Auburn. Milishousky, formerly of Rumford and Mexico, will celebrate her 108th birthday on Sunday, March 19, at a quiet family gathering.
