I was disappointed in the limited coverage of the Hands Off! protests in Maine on April 5. While you did highlight protests in nine towns, you overlooked many more communities that had robust turnouts. I attended the Hands Off! event in Brunswick, and would assert that there were well over 1,000 people on the mall. There was a drone over the crowd, which I assumed was to aid in the count of participants. Yet nowhere in your paper have I seen reference to any activity in Brunswick.

I would appreciate a tally of all Maine Hands Off! events from April 5, and a reasonable estimate of participants at each. This is important information, particularly as we work hard to counter the punitive actions being directed at our state from the federal government.

Please keep us accurately and fully informed. We rely on the press for truth and for full disclosure.
