First Aid Training 5/13 from 4-8 p.m. 5/13 $70
The First Aid class includes: medical emergencies, bleeding that you can see, bleeding you cannot see, treating for shock, and how and when to call emergency services. The course cost includes a blend of PowerPoint and video, instructor and practical components, and a certificate of completion. This class is taught to the standards established by the American Heart Association. The workbook is not included with this class. Cost is $10 for the workbook. Offered by Charissa Kerr at OHNAE.

Narcan Training 5/28 at 5:30 p.m. Free
Narcan (also known as naloxone) is a safe and easy-to-use medication that reverses overdoses, including those caused by fentanyl. Fentanyl is commonly found in cocaine, opioids, and methamphetamine, as well as counterfeit prescription pills (e.g., fake Adderall). Narcan has saved the lives of thousands of Mainers. Participants will learn about how to recognize and respond to a suspected overdose, including how to administer Narcan. We will discuss what happens to a person’s body during an overdose and how Narcan works. Instructors will break down, step by step, how to administer intranasal Narcan. CDL Bus Driver Training, Ongoing Enrollment $1,850
The CDL Class B class prepares students to meet the Maine BMV Class B school bus driving requirements and consists of online theory instruction and 30 hours of driving instruction to prepare students for the State written and skills exam and the state road test. Offered in OHNAE.
