Beverly Ann Crowley

POLAND – Beverly Ann Crowley, 81, passed away peacefully in her home on Sept. 10, 2025. She was born in Greene, to Douglas and Janet (Ray) Crowley, and grew up in Bowdoin, Litchfield, and Lewiston. She moved to, and was a resident of, Poland for the past 44 years. She worked at Eastland Shoe in Freeport and Knapp Shoe in Lewiston until her retirement. Beverly enjoyed playing cards with family and was an avid Bingo player for many years.

She especially enjoyed time with her sister, Sheila (Crowley) Cash going for rides, having dinner together, or swimming in the pool. Although she didn’t have children of her own, Beverly found joy in spending time with multiple generations of nieces and nephews and was often seen as the “fun and silly” aunt to all the kids.

She was predeceased by her parents, six brothers, Norman, Stanley, Lawrence, Gerald, Robert and Dennis. And her brother-in-law Jake Cash.

She is survived by her sister, Sheila Cash of Poland, her sister-in-law Violet Crowley of Auburn, and numerous nieces and nephews who will always have fond memories of “Aunt Kate.”

The family will hold visitation on Wednesday September 17, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., at the Chandler Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 26 W. Dwinal St., Mechanic Falls. And burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Auburn. To make an online condolence please visit http://www.chandlerfunerals.com
