Christmas in Harrison events
Friday, Dec. 2
All day — Stroll through the village and enjoy the homes and businesses that have been beautifully decorated for the season.
6:45 p.m. — Santa arrives. Bring your flashlight or candle. Christmas Tree lighting at the Town Office on Route 35.
6 to 8 p.m. — Lions Club Food Booth will be selling hot drinks.
7 to 8 p.m. — Children may visit Santa at the Town Office.
Saturday, Dec. 3
7 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Breakfast and lunch items will be on sale at the Grange Hall.
7:30 to 9:30 a.m. — Holiday pancake and egg breakfast at the Congregational Church of Harrison, donations accepted.
8:30 a.m. — Free Zumba toning at The Harrison Ballroom.
9:05 a.m. — Free Zumba class at The Harrison Ballroom.
9:30 a.m. — Christmas parade with the arrival of Santa on an antique firetruck.
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.— Annual craft fairs at the Harrison Grange and the Town Office.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Raffle Walk, sponsored by the Lions Club, starts at their food booth in the Town Office parking lot.
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Free horse-drawn wagon rides through the village.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Children’s crafts at the Lions Den.
10 a.m. to noon — Children’s Treasure Hunt starting at the Town Office.
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Visit with Santa Claus at his workshop in front of the fireplace at the Olde Mill Tavern. Parents may bring cameras to snap a picture with Santa.
10 a.m. to noon — Cookie Walk and gingerbread man decorating at Harrison Village Library. Children are invited to decorate a gingerbread man. Event sponsored by Friends of the library.
10 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Christmas tree sale at the Tie-Up store parking lot. Sponsored by the Harrison Lions Club.
10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. — The Harrison Brass Choir Ensemble will play as they wander through the village.
11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Free greenery swag-making. Decorate to your taste. Donations accepted.
5 to 7:30 p.m. — Chowder dinner at the Congregational Church of Harrison. Sponsored by Waterford’s World Fair.

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Harrison Lion’s Den (Block Basement)
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Northeast Bank (no business transactions)
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Olde Mill Tavern
10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Ruby’s Slipper Cage &Bakery
10 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Crabapple Barn
