PORTLAND — The Maine Real Estate & Development Association will host its Annual Real Estate Forecast Conference and 8th Annual Member Showcase on Jan. 26. Gov. Paul LePage will open the conference with remarks detailing his vision for Maine’s real estate industry and thoughts on the industry as a whole.

More than 500 of the state’s leading real estate experts are expected to attend the day’s events at Portland’s Holiday Inn By the Bay. The annual conference will provide an outlook on commercial real estate by region and key market sectors, including office, retail, industrial, residential and multi-family properties.

In addition to delivering localized and industry-specific forecasts, Charles Colgan of the Muskie School of Public Service will deliver an economic forecast for the state.

In addition to LePage and Colgan, presenters will include: Karen Rich, Cardente Real Estate; Bev Uhlenhake, Epstein Commercial Real Estate; Chris Paszyc, CBRE | The Boulos Co.; Daren Hebold, Daigle Commercial Group; John Graham, Sullivan Multi-Family Realty; Nicholas Dambrie, RE/MAX By the Bay; James Harden, Malone Commercial Broker, and Justin Lamontagne, NAI The Dunham Group.

Supplementing the conference is the Member Showcase, which provides an opportunity for members to network and market their products and services.
