AUBURN — For the second consecutive year, Central Maine Orthopaedics’ wellness program was a recipient of the Healthy Androscoggin Gold Award for their initiative to promote the wellness of their employees. CMO and other area organizations were honored at the Work Healthy Recognition Breakfast held during the monthly Androscoggin County Chamber of Commerce meeting at Lost Valley.

The Wellness Program was honored for providing a smoke-free environment for employees and patients alike, physical activity programs and healthy eating options. The wellness program offers insanity classes for employees, has a running group that participates in local road races and provides healthy vending options in the staff lounge areas.
