STRONG — A 14-foot camper, which burned Friday along with a quarter-acre of lawn at a Farmington Road lot, was owned by Rodney Rodriguez, Maine Forest Service Ranger Mark Rousseau said Saturday.

Maine Forest Service rangers joined the Strong Fire Department in extinguishing the blaze at 530 Farmington Road and prevented the fire from spreading into the woods, Lt. Jeffrey Currier, Southern District ranger for the Maine Forest Service said, late Saturday morning.

The camper was destroyed and the cause of the fire was unknown, Currier,

“Due to the extensive damage, the cause may never be determined,” Currier said.
