AUBURN — Alina Burke has joined Thayer Corp. in Auburn as sales manager.

She will be working both with new sales and maintenance/service contracts. Most recently, she was vice president, mortgage loan originator at Northeast Bank. During her 10 years at Northeast, she received several awards for sales results, was recognized for her volunteer work and community involvement and awarded the America’s Promise Award on two occasions.

Burke is also an active, licensed insurance agent, achieving the Accredited Customer Sales Representative certification. She volunteers at Central Maine Medical Center and the Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope & Healing. She serves as an ambassador for the Androscoggin Valley Chamber of Commerce, is an active board member for Rebuilding Together Lewiston/Auburn, and a Planning Board member for the “Bands on the Run” event to benefit Museum L/A.

Burke, an avid runner, resides in Auburn with her two children.
