NEW GLOUCESTER — The New Gloucester Economic Development Committee is sponsoring a talk, geared for builders and homeowners, by energy trainer David Johnston. He will speak about the new statewide energy code.

The event will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. on June 9 at the AMVETS Hall, 1095 Lewiston Road. Those attending will learn about the latest in solar technology, pellet and wood systems, energy audits, and lighting from area vendors. New Gloucester’s own Bald Hill Boys will provide lively bluegrass music, and local baked food will be available.
