DIXFIELD — The Police Department handled 19 incidents between May 31 and June 6. Among them are the following.

Accident

A 2010 pickup truck driven by Martell Remick, 50, of Jay struck a deer at 5:50 a.m. June 6 on Route 17 in East Dixfield. The deer was killed. Remick’s truck sustained about $1,100 damage to the front.

Thefts

A Dirigo High School employee reported at 11:30 a.m. June 5 that someone had entered a storage area in the athletic shed and took three mountain bikes valued at $1,150.
