MONMOUTH — Drug agents are investigating a Monmouth home Thursday afternoon for a suspected methamphetamine lab.
WGME is reporting on their Facebook page that the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency became aware of criminal activity at the property at 307 Cressey Road in Monmouth Wednesday afternoon.
A portion of the road has been closed as officials complete their investigation.
Three individuals have been taken into custody, according to WGME. The Kennebec Journal is reporting that jail records indicate those charged with unlawful trafficking in scheduled drugs are Robert R. Dumont, 27, James W. Renaud, 33, both of Monmouth, and Brandon A. Parker, 42, of Oxford.
The three were taken to Kennebec County Jail and will appear in court on Friday, the KJ reports.
