An unusual and somewhat spectacular automobile accident occurred on Main street, Lewiston, Monday afternoon when Mr. and Mrs. Charles F. Dolliver of this city were thrown out of their car and narrowly escaped serious injury. Neither one received so much as a bruise, it is said. Mrs. Dolliver, who has driven a car all the season, was running a light Ford Runabout, going down the northern side of Main street. She turned out for a team and the machine slid a short distance on the wet rails of the street railway. When it reached the dry section of the rails, it was stopped so suddenly that the auto was overturned and both occupants were thrown out.
