SOUTH PORTLAND — Police are looking for a woman who allegedly robbed an undisclosed amount of money from the TD Bank branch at 250 Maine Mall Road Thursday night.
According to police, a white or Hispanic woman entered the bank around 7 p.m. She did not display a weapon, but implied she was armed before tellers gave her cash.
Police said the woman was seen riding away from the scene in a white SUV that had been parked near a nearby Friendly’s Ice Cream restaurant. Police said she appears to have been a passenger in the vehicle.
The suspect in the robbery is described as being about 5 feet 2 inches tall, with a medium build and dark hair and between the ages of 20 and 25. She was wearing jeans, a gray hooded GAP sweatshirt and New York Yankees baseball cap.
