AUBURN—The Auburn/Lewiston YMCA will be hosting the Filling in the Gaps softball tournament at the Randall Road complex in Lewiston on Sunday, September 23rd beginning at 7:30am ending at 7 p.m. The tournament is comprised of an open and a corporate division featuring four teams in each division with a 300 dollar entry fee for each team. Following round robin teams will be seeded for single elimination finals. Each team is guaranteed atleast four games Each roster can have 12-15 players and ASA officials will be umpiring. There will be a largue plaque to each winner and a tournament MVP. Concessions will be available all day long.

Corporate teams must be co-ed and comprised of members of the organization (owners, employees, volunteers) or immediate family members (spouses, significant others and children). Open division competitors may be all male but will also compete in one pitch format.

The purpose of the event is to bring local citizens, businesses and organizations together to partake in friendly, spirited competition while building on organizational camaraderie and mingling with community partners from other teams. Tournament proceeds, after expenses, will be designated to the YMCA annual fund. The YMCA annual fund is designed to support the programs that benefit our community and often provide individual families opportunities to take advantage of YMCA services that they could not afford otherwise.
