AUBURN — The Broad Street Band and Under the Covers will take on a Battle of the Bands challenge on Friday, Sept. 21, at Lost Valley, benefiting the American Heart Association.

Attendees are urged to pack a picnic and arrive at 6 p.m. There will be a cash bar. Guests are not allowed to bring in alcohol.

The battle will begin at 7 p.m. and last until 11 p.m.

Advance tickets are $10 for one, $15 for two. They will be $10 each at the door; children 12 and younger admitted free. Tickets will be available at the Central Maine Heart Walk on Sept. 16 (8:30 a.m.) at the Hilton Garden Inn in Auburn, or call Louise Comeau at 755-4295.

The evening event is open to all ages and will be held rain or shine. All proceeds benefit the American Heart Association’s Central Maine Heart Walk.
