CMCC 9, UMA 1

AUBURN — Darine Gnidehoue and Abdiweli Said each scored a pair of goals as Central Maine Community College rolled over the University of Maine at Augusta, 9-1, in a men’s soccer game Friday.

The Mustangs jumped out to a 5-0 lead after the first half and tacked on four more goals in the second half.

CMCC’s Spencer Osgood, Nicholas Cameron, Erik Waite, Clifford Turner and Joshua Brien each scored a goal. UMA’s Nate Snowman scored on a penalty kick.

Women’s soccer

CMCC 10, UMA 0

AUBURN — Freshman striker Maggie McConkey turned in a hat trick as Central Maine Community College walked all over the University of Maine at Augusta with a 10-0 victory in women’s soccer Friday.

Two of McConkey’s goals came in the first half. The Mustangs’ Corrina Kinder and junior Kim Migliara each scored a pair of goals and an assist.

Danielle McCusker, Chelsea Riendeau and Kylie Rolbiecki rounded out the scoring for the Mustangs.
