FARMINGTON — A bicyclist complained of leg pain after a collision with an SUV Wednesday afternoon at the end of Center Bridge.
Thomas Graham Jr., 53, of Winterport, was checked by NorthStar ambulance after the 4:15 p.m. accident, according to the police report. It did not indicate if Graham was transported to the hospital.
Graham was stopped at the light on the west side of the bridge, and Paula Strout, 45, of Wilton slowed her 2006 Kia Spectra at the light before making a right turn toward West Farmington, Farmington Police Department secretary Bonnie Pomeroy said.
When Strout approached the traffic light, Graham saw her look to the right, slow and look to the left. He thought she was waiting for him to proceed and he did. She rolled forward and the two collided, according to officer Mike Raymond’s report.
The bicycle was demolished.
