AUBURN — Select Physical Therapy recently announced it has reopened its aquatic therapy pool for local patients.
The aquatic therapy program will help patients with physical and multiple disabilities such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, orthopedic conditions, sports injuries and neurological disease. Aquatic therapy uses the properties of water to strengthen and shape movement and function. To promote healing and movement, the newly opened pool will be kept at a warm temperature — between 88 and 92 degrees.
Select Physical Therapy’s Auburn clinic is inside the Central Maine Orthopeadics building, 690 Minot Ave., Suite 2. For more information, call 783-3450.
