BREWER — Edward Little erupted for three goals in the first half and added a fourth in the second to secure a 4-0 win over Brewer in a girls’ soccer contest Monday. 

Kory Norcross, Lexi Clavet and Allarie Lever all scored in the opening half, while Callie Murray added an insurance marker in the second to pace the Eddies (6-5), with Norcross, Murray and Hannah Smith chipping in assists.

Taylor Landry earned the shutout in the cage with seven stops, while Brewer keeper Glory Watson stopped 14 in the losing effort for the Witches (0-12).

Monmouth 4, Hall-Dale 1

MONMOUTH — Monmouth was held to just one shot in the first half but rallied from a deficit with four goals in the second half in a 4-1 victory over Hall-Dale.

Danielle Bumann scored to two goals while Kylie Kemp had a goal and three assists. Maddie Bumann added a goal and an assist.

Hall-Dale (8-4-1) had taken the early lead with a Maura Stottler goal in the first half.

Adrianna Gonzalez made six saves in net for Monmouth (11-2) while Hall-Dale got nine saves from Olivia Maynard.

Mountain Valley 1, Telstar 0

BETHEL — Sarah Klein scored midway through the second half Monday to lift Mountain Valley to a 1-0 win over Telstar in girls’ soccer.

Klein gathered a loose ball off a goal kick just outside the penalty area. She fired it into the top of the net for the game-winner with 17:68 left in the second half.

Jena Plourde made three saves for the shutout for the Falcons (3-10). Tori Ryerson made 11 stops for the Rebels (1-11-1).

Bangor 4, Mt. Blue 0

FARMINGTON — Four different Bangor players scored goals and Cordelia Stewart stopped eight shots to lead the Rams to a 4-0 victory over Mt. Blue in KVAC girls’ soccer action Monday.

Grace Maclean, Katerina Dagner, Mary Butler and Eve George all scored for the Rams (10-1), while Dagner and Libby Huber chipped in with assists.

Mt. Blue keepers Gabby Foy and Thia Bridges made eight saves each for the Cougars (5-5-1).

Field Hockey

Lisbon 2, St. Dom’s 0

LISBON FALLS — Molly Nicholson scored two goals to lead Lisbon field hockey to a 2-0 win over St. Dom’s Monday.

Both goals came in the second half for the Greyhounds (13-0-1). Sarah Craig had an assist for Lisbon.

St. Dom’s (3-10-1) got 14 saves from goalie Amanda Cortellino. Stevie Charest had one stop as Lisbon outshot the Saints 21-1.
